Hey guys I have a 99 XJ with RC 4.5 lift and Rubicon Express Track Bar. I am having problems witht he mounting bracket. It was already rusty when I got it the jeep, and where the joint end mounts to the bracket has become loose due to rust. This causes alot of clunking and noise, and a wooble on the highway. I am wondering should I try to build my own bracket (I have limited access to plasma cutter and welder) or is there a bracket I could buy. I am going to be adding at least another inch of lift. If anyone has made a bracket or knows a really good alternative please help!!

I thought that kit came w/ a new drop bracket. But either way you def need one. You can find them on ebay for cheep, but its even cheeper just to make one or get someone who can make one. If not that hole will wallow out and get worse and worse and eventually you will get what is reffered to as death wabble. And its scary on the highway runnin 65 or 70 when it happends. Im gonna make a drop bracket for mine but for now I just used a larger bolt that is snug.
