I have tried to get it off before. I thought I half assed it so I tried again since I'm going through everything. Now I'm a big guy and.I work out a lot. I soaked the nut in pb. I can't get that stinkin thing to budge! Anyone have tips?
Are you trying to get the nut off of the ball joint type end? Or the actual bracket. Not sure if it will help in your situation but when I changed my trac bar I took the whole mount off the frame.

The unfortunate part is I don't have access to a breaker bar where I am. I'm basically working out of the tools I brought here with my jeep. The rest of my tools ate in my roll away at my shop out of town and I can't get over there right now... I'm just waiting for me to be pulling as hard as I can and having the wrench slip and bust my head open. I'm on the top nut and I'm moving the whole mount when I'm pulling.

soak that ***** in PB for a week (one shot everyday) and muscle it on out! if that dont work carefully torch it up... if that dont work buy a nut splitter and split the bolt. once the bolt is gone, hammer a pickle fork in there and jump on it!

Did you pull the cotter pin?
I used about 12" of pipe on my 3/8" ratchet handle to get mine out. I couldn't find my breaker bar or that would have done it.
What was more difficult was getting it out without a pickle fork.

Hey Slick, I just found your thread. Wed. I'll be around waiting for a propane guy here in Rio Nido. I have a decent breaker bar and 1/2" stuff. Drop by if you promice not to shoot my Jeep to put it out of it's misery.
No saws-all or heat wrench, here, but an angle grinder.
