Trac Bar Bolt Question
Experiencing road vibrations and a slight wobble at 70mph exactly. Stock suspension. From the forums it looks like the trac bar bolts need to be re-torqued or replace them.
If replaced, I was going to make a trip the hardware store.
What Length and threading am I looking for?
Are they different size bolt at each end?

the frame end of the bar has a tie rod end on it so your looking for a nut which is one notched for a cotter pin, try tightening it, then when you think its too tight then give it 2 more turns trust me that stock pos bracket makes it so the trac bar is never tight enough,
iirc the axle end has a 10mm bolt going thru it, it shouldnt need to be replaced unless its stripped in that case id just go pocket one at the jy and know you have the right one
i know you mentioned you have no lift on your xj but down the road when your trac bar wears out buy one of the "heavy duty" brackets and a track bar with heim joints on it, youll wish you did it sooner, i made my own and wow it made a huge difference from my old rusty trac bar.
