Default Power steering hose leak

I've found a slight leak in my upper power steering hose last night. Anybody know how messy it is to change? Also, are the parts store hoses good enough?

If you're talking about the high pressure, I just replaced mine a couple weeks ago. I got it from autozone for about 20 bucks and it didn't leak much as I was changing it. Still a good idea to have a drip pan underneath. Lower hose connection was kind of a pain. You'll need a 5/8 wrench for the top and 18mm for the bottom.

Hope this helps.

Remove the airbox so you have more room to work. Don't tighten the fittings until both of them are started a couple of threads, and start with the one on the gearbox.

Easy to do , not a lot of leakage. Take your time with starting the threads, and make sure the hose and fittings don't touch anything!!!!

Thank you all, gentlemen. The photo and wrench sizes speed things up.

I'm gonna do the hose and driveshaft u-joints tomorrow night.
