I tow my 18' Mirrocraft SC. trailer and boat should be pretty close to 3000 lbs. I don't really like doing it since it'll sway on the highway, I'm trying to figure out what needs to be done. Poly leaf spring bushings possibly could help or stiffer shocks. It doesn't squat at all though.

My blessing is that the boat is a Fish&Ski widebody. It sits low; that trailer track width is 88". Heck the boats beam is 76"!

Look at the size difference. It pulled it fine, as far as power goes but the stability bothered me

Hehehe. I'm saving that pic for next time someone asks why I don't trade the XJ on a Liberty, lol.

I kinda like the off-road. Liberty look pretty sweet but I'd have to ditch the 3.7

I pull a brick of a horse trailer with 2 horses around. I'm at 4.5" of lift and 31" tires and no rear sway bar. I don't get any roll and no sagging what so ever. The trailer kind of pushes the jeep around when trying to stop so you have to start breaking way early; the jeep isn't set up to use the trailer brakes though. It did have the tow package but the factor hitch was replaced with something heavier duty, and the purpose of the deeper gears were kind of killed by the lift and tires.

I tow this boat around, but my Rusty's springs sure do hate it.

towed the boat 150 miles over the weekend, even though I've taken the weight of the trailer off of the Jeep, it's a half inch lower in the back than it was a week ago. The boat/and trailer can't weigh more than 1,000 pounds put together.
