I've a 18 ft. pontoon boat, I tow with mine. No problem. Also have a 27 ft. formula. with twin Merc. 454's in it. fast boat, easily does 60+ mph. With six people on board. it's up for sale, if any one is interested. I inherited it last October, along with a 2001 Yukon XL. that was used to tow it. But I already sold the truck.

the pontoon boat is fine to tow with because the person that had my cherokee before me towed his 20ft fishing boat with it. it only weighed 2500lbs and he towed that thing with ease. i also have towed my 20 ft pontoon that weighs 3000lbs and it went just fine. then again i have a 98 xj limited with the factory 5000lb tow package. hope this helps a little bit. sorry if it doesnt

I towed a liberty all over town today and that sucker weighs a crap load. I definitely knew it was behind me and stayed at 50 on the highway because it was swaying me all over the place.
Look at the size difference. It pulled it fine, as far as power goes but the stability bothered me

but then again i also only drive my boat around town and not on any highways. also theres alot of factors that you have to account for also, wind, trailer if its a single or double axle bumpy roads etc... it all adds up. by the way nice liberty, i like the color

its a nice truck. my wife loves it. she bought it for me last year when i was tdy for the army. the only issue we have had with it is the engine. other then that, its comfortable, lots of room, smooth ride on the highway, cup holders.
towed it to the shop to put a new engine in though so it'll be back on the road in a week or so. its the wife's now. she likes it more so i got me a cherokee.

lol smooth man. yea my buddy had a liberty not to long ago and he loved it. until he t-boned the P!ss out of a school bus. drove his engine block 9 inches into the front seat. boy is he lucky to be alive. i saw the pictures of the accident and that engine had to be pretty close to sitting on his lap. but other then that its a really durable car, i wouldnt mind having one

I was pulling this thing for a few days solid all over town on the freeway and in traffic with no problem. I can remember how much it weighs but I could feel it behind me for sure it was somewhere around maby 16ish ft.. But I would do it again tomorrow if need be.
