Default Tires wearin bad on the inside

I just put 31x10.50's on my jeep and they're starting to wear bad on the inside. I do have wheel adapters to go to dodge or ford bolt pattern. I checked my ball joints and they appear to be good. I'm thinking I might have a bent front axle and thought about switching to a d44. any ideas?

Moved to proper section...

There are several things that could be causing this....but I doubt it's a bent housing. Have you jumped your Jeep?? If so, then I would lean toward a bent housing, but normal driving/wheeling, you should be good there. Start with your unit bearings, and get rid of the spacers, they cause undo stress on the bearing assys, ball joints, etc...ball joints can be bad, and you will not be able to check them well alone, ask me how I know. You need a buddy to use a pry bar, and lift up on the wheel, with it jacked off the ground, on a jack stand. You need to watch the seal area of the ball joint, there should be zero vertical movement there...HTH!!

what gave me the idea of a bent axle was from when the first time i took it thru the mud hole, i hit a little too fast not realizing it was a straight drop off. I have checked the ball joints and they're fine. It does need to be aligned, but what scares me is looking at it from the front it looks like the tops of the tires are leaning in.

Sounds like you possibly bent the inner "C" of your axle. Take an angle finder to yours and another d30 that you know hasn't been rallied, and compare the values.

thats what i'm thinkin, i does look bent just from eyeballin it. Is there anyway to rebend it back to normal or am i screwed. I heard from a guy i work with that you can cut them off and re-weld them to where they have to be but that just sounds sketchy

Yeah you can heat them up real good and bend them back, but getting it back to the proper location with out putting a twist in it can be hard. I think it would be cheaper to pick up a hosing or complete axle from a JY. Then you can weld some gusset to the inner "C". Or upgrade to a d44 if you bank and fab skills are there.
