Yes I checked every fuse in both boxes. But I did find two burnt fuses one to the ignition which confused me because it still started so how was a ignition fuse bad and it started fine? If the switch is bad will the one from my 87 work?

Fuse probable wasn't actually blown. Sometimes fuses will stop working even though they have no visible damage. That's why they all have bare metal on the tops, so you can check them with multimeters.

When I said I checked every fuse I should have said I pulled every fuse and checked them with a multi meter. I also checked every relay with the tester I made. It is a relay socket off the 87 with a switch to 12v and a ohms reader across the relay.

With the dash switch set to A/C and ignition "ON" do you have 12v @ the compressor clutch & blower motor? If not start with the dash switch/connector.

Ok so key on and controls set to A/C max and blower turned to high. No 12v at A/C clutch or fan wires. fan checks out so blower is still good thank god.

Connector @ the dash switch & the switch itself are known weak links, did you smell smoke when it died? If so pull the dash apart & check those next.
