235/75/15 equal with 29.1 inch (diameter) and 225/75/15 = 28.5 inch mean you can get good acceleration. But surface contact of your tire will be reduced approximately 0.06 inches (will increase a little bit braking distance).

Actually (mathematically), 235/75/15 is 28.9" tall and 225/75/15 is 28.3" tall for a difference of .60", not .06". 235 is .39" wider than 225.

I have 31x10.5s on my stock wheels, but I didn't do an adj track bar after my lift and at full right turns I rub the LCA. I need to get some rims with 3.5-4" BS i believe but it's nothing I can't live with for now. The previous owner put these tires on and I did the lift. When I first got the car they rubbed bad! But I had drastically sagging suspension. I thought the 31s looked too big stock, now they look too small.
I picked up another matching steelie at the JY to use for my full size spare, and it had a 235 on it... not too different from the 31", may be just right. My "31s" measure 29.5" with weight on them and they're a bit worn.
