Alright, i'm new to CF and the cherokee/wheeling world so I don't want to **** anyone off by doing something dumb, or asking a dumb question. But I just got a 3" RC lift on my 92 xj and i'm looking for some new tires and possibly rims for it. I have the 15" stock rims on it right now, and I painted them black and so far the paints been holdin up and looking good, so I would like to keep them to save money. But the tires i have been looking at are 32x11.50xR15 BFG KM2's for around 800 for a set (new). I was wondering if it would be a good idea to keep my stock rims and use them with the km2's but i'm not sure if they are strong enough or will hold up well offroad? And I recently just got an offer by a friend whose selling 32x11.50x15 Pro Comp MudTerrain tires with some more durable seeming rims on em for 1000 dollars. His tires and rims seem to be in great condition tread wise and stuff but i like the km2's more and i'm not sure what road to go down. His tires are below in a picture that i attached (if i did it right that is.) thanks for your time...

Stockers are a little thin for 10.5" wide rubber. Most go to an 8" wide rim.
I also agree with 32s being tight with 3", but you'll probably only rub at full lock or during full flex.

I couldn't find 32x10.5 KM2s. I found 31x10.50r15s and 32x11.50r15 KM2s. The 31x10.50s call for a 7-9 inch rim, and the 32x11.50r15s call for the 8-10 inch wide rims.
The KM2s will be better on trails because they have three ply sidewalls and for 800 bucks I would go that way and buy a set of steelies for your Cherokee. JMO

ok, so i've decided to go ahead with the 32 KM2's and trim if needed, but since it would be a bad idea to try and run stock rims with the 32's i'm now considering just buying the rims from the picture above. But I'm not sure how much there worth, is 400$ for a set of rims like that a bad price? thats what i've been thinkin so far
stock wheel is fine for a 10.5, heck I'm running 32 11.5s on a 7in wheel and 3inchs will clear them just fine you'll need to cut your fenders though
i say get the KM2s and cut your fenders for clearance

No! I said $400 for any used set of wheels, unless they were the forged Mickey Thompson alcoa wheels is not a good price!
OK, maybe if you could buy some Walker Evans bead locks for $400 that would be good.
You can buy brand new Aluminum wheels for under 100 each so 400 for used is way to much.
