Primewells are junk. Wear horrible and I've seen them fall apart.

Yea I noticed the terrible tread design on these Primewells, and the guy who sold me the jeep said they were about 1 year old , but they are the cheapest set you could put on I would think...Im guessing anything would be better

I have 235/75R15's on my '87 Pioneer and they fit great with no rubbing in normal street driving (haven't taken it off road yet so not sure if they'd rub at full flex). I believe my year/model would have came with 215's stock like yours. I say go for the 235/75's. They fill up the wheelwells and look great. If you have any issues with rubbing you can always throw a BB lift on it.

Oh, plus they're studded. So that adds some $$

almost every member on here with a stock cherokee runs 235/75R15s without any issue. I'm 100% confident you will not have rubbing issues, even offroad.

I ran 30x9.5's on my stock 90 base model, 235's will work without rubbing!

If I may. I have had great luck with the yokahama AT/s tires. they are great in the snow and, (if you drive alot of highway miles) get better gas milage than most other tires like th wranglers. My dad owns a tire shop and he likes them alot, plus at around $125 they are not to bad on price either. but I am not an exert.

Found a deal I couldn't pass up, plus my buddy put the jeep on the lift over the weekend so I could scape and paint the old stock rims. I got a set of Kumo 78 and so far they are just what I need. Installed 430.00 total...
