I worked at wal mart in the tire shop and you should be able to put them on as long as you sign a tire waiver that state that they rub and don't fit right it shouldn't be a problem. i put some 33 super swamper's on an f 150, they rubbed like hell.

I think i'll buy the tires now and have someone else put them on. The tire are 133 a piece. It is a lot of rubber for the money.

but didnt have to trim any bodywork at all

I'm running 31's with a 2" lift...I just put some washers behind the steering stops to eliminate the control arm rub. I still rub slightly on the flare on the drivers side on right turns only and not all the time. Very tolerable for me for now.

thats wal-mart for ya i worked for sam's club for 3 years in the tire department and they have a waver you can sign but otherwise it is against policy to mount non-factory tires size on the vehicle. with stock offset wheels the tires will rub on the lower control arms when making hard turns.

I bought the tires and had a local shop put them on no problem. I also got a discount for being a USF student 40 bucks mount and balance. They look awesome. The passenger side front rubbed a little on the arm, but I adjusted the stop screw and no more rubbing. The best thing i have done for my jeep is put those aggressive tires on there. Changes the whole look. I am going to go back to Wal Mart and try to get their tire protection plan now.

Walmart is stupid. Keep that in mind. They aren't mechanics by the way, they are installers. Big difference.

They'll fit with some trimming.

I've got 31's with 1 and 3/4 pucks over my stock springs. Had to trim away some plastic off the wheel flares but, as they were busted up anyway from the DPO, it mattered little.

A box cutter works fine.

Cool tires, BTW.

i fit 33"s on my jeep before i lifted it. trim it enough, and you can put whatever you want on it.

I have those tires and LOVE them...really good all around tire...480.00 out the door...i have a 3.5 lift and I had to trim the front bottom edge of the flares to keep from rubbing in reverse on the trail. I took my rims down there and had them mount them,. no questions asked...oh did i say i love those tires?
I have MTRS on my Wrongler and they are a great tire except for the sidewall...the first trail i hit with those tires made it about a 100 yards on the trail and now have 7 plugs where it says "DURA WALL CONSTRUCTION". anyway got about 10k on these Authoritys and love them. run them at 12psi off road and they work great

Good luck
This is true. Walmart are jerks about it, but that's exactly what I've done in the past. They refused to mount 16" tires on aftermarket wheels on my Civic, even though they were the same overall diameter and correct backspacing because they weren't the OEM size. I ended up taking the wheels off the car and hand carrying them in with the tires.

Only problem then was when I got them on the car and realized they weren't balanced right. I took them back 3 times before I gave up and took them to an independent shop to get balanced.

Does Walmart have this waiver? I only ask because Washington has a law that says its illegal for your tires to rub on ANYTHING. I don't have the RCW code in front of me, but I remember stumbling across it while looking into the legality of train horns.
