Default tire question

will Size 255/75/17's on the rims from a stock 2014 jeep wrangler unlimited {4 DOOR} fit on a stock 1999 Cherokee xj --[no lift]. The reason I ask is my neighbor just had his 2014 lifted and will sell me his stock tires and rims cheap.
