Default tire pressure

i have 31/10.50/15 brigdestone duler at revo's and they have a max psi of 50 but what should i be running them at on my cherokee i have horrible gas millage hopping maybe this could help

Happy medium is about 32 psi.

I have TrXus AT's 31/11.5/15 and run 30psi and have never had an issue with them yet...Tj

Well, it would depend on what the ply rating is, C, D, E, if it is a C rated tire like it should be for a vehicle as light as the Cherokee. I would put about 25 lbs to start with use chalk, and drive it on a flat surface to see if the tread was laying flat. If it was marking on all the tread face I would call it good. If it looks as if the center isn't touching more air, if it looks like the edges aren't touching less air. The higher the ply rating the more rolling resistance, the worse the gas mileage.

35psi going lower is ok but dont go higher.

you want to run air pressure to get the most even tire wear running them at max will produce a harsher ride running them to low will affect gas mileage each tire make will be a little different between 28 to 38 a general area for the three different 4x4s ive had its a drivers choice if you do a lot of highway driving higher pressure is wually better for mileage and handeling remember check tires when hot
