wont be bad, cant even tell 31s didnt come stock on my cousins xj, and its got 3:55's. So i think 32's will be fine as long as the weight factor doesnt play in somehow

I'm running 31's with the stock 3.55 and have plenty of power but you can always go with bigger gears to make it a little quicker.

Use the formula to figure out what gears you should run by rpms at a given speed.
MPH x Gear Ratio x 336 / Tire Diameter x Top Gear Ratio = RPM
Example: AX15, ( 70 x 3.07 x 336 / 32 x .79 = 1783 RPM )
If you have the standard ring & pinion ratio for the manual AX15 transmission it will be very high geared.
The chart above is for a direct 1.1 drive ( as in 4th gear in a five speed manual ) at 65 mph

Looking at your spec sheet that you put up on your XJ you have a manual, you have 3.08 gears. I went to 3.73 to give me better power and mpg ( yeah i know) on my 00 when i lifted it and geared it. If you had an auto I would say start around 4.10's. There are online charts that give you a good look at what your asking...

This is one I found on google. Hope this helps.

I got 33's, but again I have an auto with the 3.55's. You ain't gonna be winning any races on the roads, but you can probably get by all right until you can swing a gear change.
Just don't go thinkin anyone is gonna call you Danica, Nascar Superstar
