there is a fab thread where a guy modded a bike rack that fit into the hitch. you should look it up.

you're going to have a b**ch of a time getting it to fit in tight enough to be stable, and even then it will still be too loose and will sway from side to side on every bump you hit/corner you turn. Not a very good plan IMO

they make tentioners for hitches that will keep it tight. Even so there is not a enough play to warrant it to be a bad idea at all

i think it could be done but wouldnt use it offroad, but thats where
you need it the most. just my opinnion?

I got one like that for my YJ from JC Whitney a while back, but it's not rated for big tires really.

I feel like mine was cheaper, but that was about a year ago.
