Default Tire Carrier

Does anyone have suggestions of how to mount a 31" tire on the rear of a 2000 jeep cherokee? I wouldl really like to find something that I can insert into the rear hitch receiver.

Any suggestions rather than roof mount?

You can get a hitch mount tire carrier from Quadratec. I don't think it folds down, but right now you have none, so ...

I haven't seen a hitch mount tire carrier at quadratec but I wouldn't mind having one but it would have to fold down since having to take it off just to access the rear would be a major hassle. Would just be nice to have one when I go hunting so I have more cargo space. If you can find a factory one at the JY you can reinforce it easily for a 31" tire. I just can't find any locally.

Do some searchin in craigs list or something im sure you could find a bike carrier for pretty cheap on there. Or you could always make a swivel at the bend of the bike carrier, i dont think it would be too hard
