Default tire ?

I was wondering if I was to use my stock 15x7 wheels what is the widest size tire could I run on them. I really want 31x13.50.

1050 is the widest you can go and even then you will rub at full steering lock. i would recommend getting a set of aftermarket wheels 15x8 with 3.75 BS.

that is gonna rub pretty hardcore

even if you run the right amount of backspacing to get them to not rub you will chew up wheel bearings pretty often.

x2 my suggestion would be to get a skinnier tire because it will save your jeep in the long run.

I am lookin at some 15x8 wheels with 4.00 backspacing with 32x10.50 tsl radial super swampers. does that sound good? I am planning on puttin on a 4.5'' lift.

i'm running 33x12.5's on a 15x10" rim and they sit perfectly. i wouldn't even attempt going to 13.5's with a 15x8" rim. that's way too dangerous

32x11.5 on 15x8 is a pretty standard tire to be running. FWIW that would be my recommendation.
