Tips on how to replace washer fluid pumps (front and rear)

thats how i do it too 
the switch in the dash is missing the toggle and only see the open contacts with 4 wires and another 2 wires for a little light. it looks like i need a replacement switch then i will know if the motor will get any power at all.
