Timing question 87 Cherokee 4.0
I have a Sunpro CP7519 that I bought years ago and can't find the manual. I'm somewhat familiar with hooking up a timing light and checking the timing. This timing light has a dial on it and I'm not sure where to set it when I'm checking the timing. The other thing I can find is what is the timing spec for this engine 87 Cherokee 4.0. Any input appreciated.

The timing is set by the computer. Turn the jeep on with the light hooked up and point it. Slowly turn the dial until the pointer hits zero. That will give you the timing. Not sure what Tue baseline is but I would guess between 7* and 10*

Every Renix era XJ I've ever monitored the timing on with my DRB showed 12* at idle.
