Default Time for a new motor in the 2000, what fits?

Well several months after my new cylinder head and running perfect, the sum ***** seized up. After reading several postings its seems there are numerous options as to what 4.0 block will fit but I want to make sure before I purchase a motor. I found a very low mileage motor out of a 97 Wrangler and would like to bolt my new head on it and go. I need to know what year 4.0 blocks are direct bolt in with no mods for the 2000 Cherokee.
Thanks!
