Default Ticking Speaker Feedback

I get an electronic ticking noise through my speakers. I recentely replace the head and the rest of my cooling components, and also did a tune-up, replacing distributor, rotor, bosch +2, and wires.

The feedback is only with FM stations, and seems to be a little louder in the higher range. No feedback with CD or AM.

The ticking gets more frequent when I accelerate. It does not matter if I am moving or not, just press the accelerator. Almost like it is keep up with one of the cylinders.

Ideas?

My mpg is 16.5 with the max ac running, in mixed driving, mostly city and lower mph areas, uphills included. This is about 2 mpg better than prior to tune-up.

Check your grounds, you most likely have one off from your recent work.

Put a (electrical) noise suppressor in your power line. (Or hook it up straight to the battery.)
