Helped out a friend and backfired.
I helped a friend do a sye yesterday on a 98 xj with a 231 and now it won't go into 4L we checked the linkage outside the case and removed the bolt for the lever shaft and still won't go in but 2wd and 4H and neutral works fine. Any idea's?
