Just twisting your tail seww, but remember, the members here can only guess at what is wrong with your Heep, they cannot fix it. I suppose you are eventually going to take it to a shop that can do the repairs, so why don't you just take it to that shop and have them diagnose it, then repair it.

Yeah I know, no hard feelings bro!

Well I wanna fix it myself if it's not out my skills. Also it's my DD so I cannot be without a car for a week or so..

It's just frustrating she was working fine and all of a sudden there's a tick. No wheeling, not doing anything but regular driving on roads you know?

But I see your point.

Not even a cracked exhaust manifold?

Is your starter loose?

Going away tomorrow, gonna try and look closer with a good light and see.

Someone else mentioned the starter, like 5 pages ago but I never looked at it!
Keep it cool, I will do some actual research and fiddling about on her... And the Jeep! Bom!

Thank you all for hanging in there with me! Will post an update after my diagnosis!

Well I have taken a good look at the Jeep now. My conclusion is; it's either something in the oil pan or in the transmission.
Not the engine.

So Im gonna keep driving my Jeep and keep checking when it ticks, but I feel that eventually I'll have to take her to a professional.

Not a solved thread, but thanks to everybody who has had the time and energy to help me!
