hello, just bought my first jeep its a 04 4.0 and i just changed the oil in it with lucas and all synthetic . and now i have a bad lifter noise and it didnt tick at all before i changed the oil .and its got good oil pressure could someone help me please

How many miles are on it? And did the previous owner always use full synthetic?

has 95xxx miles and not sure about previous owner use bought from a car lot

Usually on an engine thats a little older. You would want to use the same kind of oil in it thats always been used in it. If possible, find out what the previous owner used, and try using that.

used a puralator .just changed it again put regular 10w30 in it with a mobile1 filter now it just ticks loud at start for a few min.then tics of and on makes no since to me since it didnt tick at all before oil change thought i knew how to change oil lol

Next time you start it and it ticks, shut it off, wait a few seconds and re-start. Still ticking?

Thats weird my truck has 138000 and am on my second synthetic oil change and i have no weird noises mine runes better than with conventional

The Lucas was probably a mistake. Too thick.
