Throw out bearing?

Ok...87 XJ 4.0
If I don't push the clutch in and slowly try to put it in first my jeep slowly goes forward. No grinding or anything like that.
Does that sound like the throw out bearing is shot?

it sounds like your clutch.
usually if your throw out bearing is shot, it will make a hell of a squealing noise and will quiet up a bit when you push the clutch in.
when you are moving slowly, put in third and quick let out the clutch and add a bit of gas, you can tell if your clutch is bad if it slips like mad.

x2 had to get mine done when first bought my xj not a pleasant sound at all
