Default Throttle Valve cable issue

Hey all,

I attempted to adjust my TV cable as directed, but the button wouldnt depress.

Soaked in PB for a while, and eventually with some pressure, it moved for me.

Now it wont "return" back up, so my cable moves in and out freely. Suggestions on how to get this to pop back out?!?

I had a similar thing happen to mine. I just kept working it and soaking it with PB and WD40, after a little work it was back to normal.

Make a suggestion then, cruiser. Pb is pretty highly suggested usually and I find it works well.

Thanks. I'll see what of those I can find up here in Canuckistan, and do the acetone/ATF mix if I can't.

You'll be glad you did. Freeze-Off is made by CRC and carried at Napa here in the States.

I will have to add that to my collection, they carry it at the electrical supply house I go to for work.
