I chased intermittent TPS problems for like a year on my 94. Turns out there was a bad connection in the wiring harness. The MAP sensor and TPS have a wire spliced together and then that splice heads to the ecu I believe. That splice had gone bad and wasn't making a good connection. Re worked that splice and I've been trouble free since. Just my 2 cents.
