Throttle Cable
Hey guys, tried searching for this but had no luck. I just wanted to see if anyone else has the same problem with their throttle cable breaking all the time. My second one just broke today, they always seem to break at the plastic part that clips in just above the intake manifold... I did get this one at a pick-n-pull so it could have been weathered already..... I guess I should just fork out the dough for a new one...
Thanks guys.
Thanks guys.

Sounds like some homebrew fan may cure your anger... Must be something to rig up that will work. If it doesn't then you may have to fork out the dough

this might help....
look around for a place which sells lab equipment,,,, (for real)
they have a small diameter outside threaded nylon tube which can be bought ( or if you can find small enough female coupler, brass, emt etc.)
then cut to length (obviously detimine the diameter you need, 7/16" or 1/4" or whatever)
then using appropriate size and thread pitch nut on each side of it, snug it up to the metal housing bracket on the manifold.... and either epoxy to exiting plastic cable insulator, or use rtv/silicone...
just a thought.....
