I would try it in power mode. When they removed the switch they defaulted it to power mode, I'm guessing for a reason.

Also I've heard a lot of mixed opinions on which setting actually gives better MPG, it seems to be trivial. General consensus is that comfort mode is actually harder on the transmission though.
