Default Throttle Body Spacer

anyone fitted one of these? I see claims of improved running and improved mpg, but it seems dubious. I would be interested to know if anyone fitted one to a otherwsie stock engine and had any positive results..

thanks!

They are all garbage.

Use the search button. You'll see more than I feel this way.

save your Money. the spacer is trying to cylone the air into the intake for "better fuel economy and more power" doesn't effect it enough to even notice. if you want those results the option is enlarging the diameter of the throttle body by boring it out. the result is a wider open to accept more air.

you want bigger air not longer air.

Put an airaid spacer on my 96 and thought I felt a difference, but I'm sure it was all placebo.

I noticed a difference when I installed one on mine. It wasn't in the lowed stuff, but on the freeway while traveling 70 to 80mph. I was able to maintain those speeds easier (not having to kick down into a lower gear as much).

Got a poweraid tb spacer on my '92 and felt a noticeable improvement in low end power.

bought one for the wrangler. the only thing that registered on the "seat-of-the-pants" meter was that cash being sucked out of my wallet!!

x2 on the bored tb, home made cai and flow 40.

spend wisely...and learn from others who didn't!!!
