Default Thinking about a lift

As I get all the issues one by one fixed on this thing.. I'm starting to get down to thinking about the suspension. It needs bushings, shocks, and such anyway.. So why not add a lift while I have it tore apart.
So My question is..
How high do I want to go.. I would just like to add some meat to the tires is all.. How high can you go before you have to get into really modding things?
Is 3 inches quick and easy?
What all is involved, and what kit do you suggest?
I am looking at rough country 3" kit with springs, because my springs sag anyway. Again I am not an off road enthusiast, I just need some more aggressive tires, for our camping property in NY.
Thanks

You can have your self a nice 3 inch lift for under 300 with shocks coil spring and an add a leaf but if your rear springs are sagging i recommend getting full leaf packs

I'd go with the 3". I just put one on mine and it was pretty straight forward to install. A 3" will allow up to 31" tires without triming your fenders which is probably about ideal for what you want. Deffinatly go with full rear spring pack if you are already sagging. I bought my kit from rustys offraod and while I'm happy with it, I think you could save some money buying one from somewhere else. Their prices aren't bad, but their shipping costs are another story. The cost goes up substantially with a lift over 3" on a cherokee and a 2" bubget boost isn't going to replace the shock, springs and other worn parts you have. I think a 3" lift with 30-31" tires is exactlly what you are looking for.
