Default thinking about getting the rough country long arm kit questions though

i have the rough country 4.5 lift kit now. if i get the long arm upgrade kit would that lift my jeep higher, and would i have to get new springs or leaf springs or shocks.

it wont make your lift higher...if you get the 4.5" Long arm upgrade you get the arms and skids...no spring.

no more clearence all it does is just about double the length of your lower control arms and attatches them to the cross member, allowing much more articulation, better drive angle for your control arms, and much better ride on road for highly lifted vehicles. no extra lift, no softer ride (in sense) and no more, if a little less clearence cause you will have the extra length of the arms, but the articulation well makes up for it.
