Default Thinking about changing out spark plugs and wires

Wanting to change out my plugs and wires in my 00 xj. Started looking under the hood and dont see em. Buddy say there inside the intake manifold. How big a pain would it be to change them out and also what else should I change out at 110,000 miles.

2000 has coil packs, no wires, ive had to change my coil packs before, its like 130 bucks for a whole new coil strip, and its the long black piece on the non intake side of the engine, its pretty easy to change out but the plug into the back of the coils next to the valve cover is a pain to get to

You don't have spark plug wires or a distributor, you have coil packs. You only need to change your plugs and plug boots on a tune up, coil packs you are going to want to change out only when they start giving you trouble. Find the coil pack rail on the passnger side of the head, it is about 2.5 feet long and has a 3/4 inch square channel that runs along the top of it and is the first thing you see, there are (I think, don't quote me) between 4 and 8 blots that hold that thing on. The coil pack rail and coil packs come out togehter as one unit, and once unbolted the coil rail pulls right off of the back of the spark plugs. Inspect the spark plug boots that come off of the coil rail and make sure they are not cracked or rotted, if they are the local auto parts store stocks the boots and they easily pulled off and pushed on the coil rail for replacement. After that, gap your new plugs and put them in, then replace the coil rail the way it came off, bolt it back in and you are done.
