I've been meaning to get better headlights also. Already have the upgraded harness. But I'm not sure about LED in my case. I've heard they're not good for driving in the snow because they reflect so much light back at you... or something like that. So driving in Denver with the snow might be a little bit of a PITA in the winter. But summer would be great!! I'm leaning more towards the H4 upgraded housing and new bulbs.

I think it is the fact they don't get hot enough to melt snow on them.
One or some of the super fancy super expensive ones come with heaters.
I just run Wagner BriteLite versions of the stock headlights. And the harness upgrade.
Works for me.
Yeah the snow not melting is another issue as well.... But I'm not paying $400+ for headlights that melt snow for me. hahaha...
Do you notice a big difference with the BriteLites over stock? I could possibly take that route instead of H4 upgrade because I plan on getting some auxiliary lighting as well....

To be frank with you don't drive much at night. Didn't do a comparison so...
Plus I had mismatched headlights in there from the PO. I think one was Wagner and the other a Sylvania. LOL.
And one of the other reasons I bought them is cause a customer of the auto parts store I work at, a trucking company,
when they order headlights that is all they buy for the rigs.
So headlights, harness, done.
Like I said when I am out at night I am OK with them.
Thinking it cost me $40 total if that much. And that includes the 2 adjusters I had to buy cause mine were jacked.
my new rubicon has factory LED headlights, and i live in northern ontario (canada). i can tell you, they really do SUCK in the driving snow, but just a regular snowfall isn't so bad.
no they don't heat up either, so i have to stop, get out and wipe/spray off the lenses. and the light really does reflect off the snow, making it harder to see than with the headlights off, but i have bright driving lights (LED also), and white fender tip markers (also LED) that are also quite bright, so i will shut off the main headlights and drive with the driving lights on, and i can see a lot better.
so if you find the same problem with those LED, just install and use a good set of driving lights, installed down low to keep the reflection away from your face.
What store did you find these at?
Also, I have seen people talk about the harness upgrade but haven't looked it up. Where do you get them and is it just heavier wiring and better connectors?

The upgrade harness changes the circuit so that the main power draw goes to the lights direct from the battery via a relay which is energised by the headlight switch, instead of the stock set up which has no relay and all the current goes via the headlight switch itself.

To add to that... another reason for staying with a good set of OEM's is that LEDs wouldn't even produce enough heat to roast the nuts on a house fly.... I just got a good pair of OEMs because while not as bright as LEDs, they heat up the glass to melt off the snow and ice that always sticks to the front of your vehicle's lights.
