Changing the thermostat today.
Can someone give me a step by step plan/ instructions to changing it?
Any help would be great.

2 bolts hold the stat cover. The gasket surface on both the cover and head must be sterile clean for a good seal. Cleaning the bolt threads is a good idea and I always lube the bolt threads with a dab of grease/oil. Install the new stat making sure it stays in the groove in the head. I prefer a thin film of RTV on both sides of the gasket so I apply RTV to the head, then stick the gasket to the head, then apply RTV to the cover. Just snug on the bolts.....don't crank 'em down hard.
