Fuel injected vehicles require a 195* t-stat. Some here will say they use something different but that's what's called for.

Well no one around here carries Mopar and wont order it. So all they have is failsafe and something else.

^go onto Amazon.com and search for a t-stat. i got a Mr. Gasket one off their site, and it's worked like a charm. they also carry the Stant brand and some others for cheap. i also ordered the gaskets from them too. you get a package of 10 gaskets for something like $1.50.

depending an what your demands form the engine are is going to vary when it comes to choosing the degrees. 195 if you keep it stock. if you mod it and run it hard every-so-often a 180 will be fine. they also have 160degrees, which is what i have, but i chose that solely because of how i drive it and the weather by me. even though it is cool now, my engine heats up FAST, and in the summer because of traffic and how muggy it gets here in the Great Lakes, it heats up even faster. (before anybody says that's crazy, i have not had a single problem running the 160, even in this cool weather. no unnatural wear inside the engine, no variation in the fluids, no unnatural weathering of the gaskets around the engine. it runs fine, and has actually solved more than just the overheating issue.)

Yea mine runs at 210 constantly and i want it way below that and maybe like 180 to 190. I run semi normal, sometimes i run it hard off road wise.
