Then do just that, it will give you piece of mind. The temp range "normal" on the 4.0L is 198' to 215' so don't be bothered by what your gauge reads. If it is not boiling over or pinning the gauge in the red zone then you are fine and the advice your getting here will cause you to overthink the whole thing and end up spending money on things you don't need to worry about.

well I added the new gasket and when I went to start it I saw coolant coming out between the gasket. I put RTV seal on it. Am I suppose to do it on both sides? I only put one side of rtv like it said on the back but then again idk if I put it on the wrong side.

Always apply RTV to both sides of gasket.

Some new gaskets have a peel and stick type plastic on one side. If that is not removed so you can stick the gasket on it will leak.
Don't ask me how I know. lol
This was on a Dodge so the Jeep gaskets might not have it. I have seen it on new Ford gaskets also.

That is weird it actually looked like I could peel off the side that was pure white. if one side is sticky then I wont need to apply it then just on the other non sticky side?

Some gaskets have a sticky peel off, some don't. If it does, peel it off and apply RTV to both sides of the gasket.
