Default Is there anyway to clean or replace the fuel filter on a 2000 XJ?

It's the 4.0 and yes I know the filter is part of the pump assembly but is there a way to take it apart and clean it or replace it without having to replace the pump? I also want to take off the injectors and clean them if anyone has any tips. Thanks to all.

yes and no your fuel filter is hooked to your fuel pump in the tank but if you want to try you just have to drop the tank pull the pump to clean it
