Default Was there 2 different sized Serpentine belts for a 4.0?

I grabbed a Serp belt from a junk yard that I took off my self from a 96 that I have gathered other parts from for my 96. Got it home and it seems maybe an inch or so longer? Can they be stretched? I routed it but I can not get any tension on the belt at all. Any thoughts? thanks

I second that. There are just some things that you don't get from a bone yard. Plus for like 4 bucks more than what you paid gets you brand new with warranty.

It wasn't going to be permanent just waned to see if that was the cause of the squealing. It was only a $1.99 , but i guess ill pick up a new one tomorrow. Is there different sizes though, like should I measure mine instead of just saying what vehicle I have at the auto store?

I wouldn't...id buy the one at the auto store and then compare it to your original one...I paid 15 bucks for mine and put it on...which was a pain in the ***...
