testing a TCM
Back to it...still havent figured out how to test a TCM so im asking again i suppose.
I got another one from the junk yard just for giggles BUT it ended up being the wrong one.... so im back to square one lol.
Im hoping there is a way to test a TCM if not im just gonna keep trying and trying and buying and buying and buying.....

substitutions? like replacing and swaping and testing?? lol....this is me -->

Did you do anything with the TPS like TJWalker suggested in the other thread?
You can go 1-2 and 3 manually and have it work fine, but not in "D"? You sure the solenoids in the "new" trans are good? Have you checked the resistance (all three solenoids) at the plug?

This is a good link I've used for checking out the various sensor inputs on the TCM. Having a spare to swap in works too. They're on ebay for pretty cheap.

all grounds have been checked X2..... im gonna have to check out another diagnosis manual online cause im sick of not having a heep.
