so now I think this jinxed me. When you burped your system the cheater way, you simply took the upper hose off the thermostat housin and filled the system through there? And then wait for it to circulate through the system till it shoots back out the hose? Love my jeep, hate the cooling system!

LOL......just asking for trouble with a used radiator unless u r positive it's been to a rad shop, tanks pulled, core rodded, re-assembled and pressure tested. A 31" X 19" rad would be nice and I would think a larger rad would be a snap to install vs a V8 engine, no?
