Default Temperature Gauge

i got a 95 xj and my temp gauge aint workin
just replace the coolant temp sensor and still nothin
not throwin any codes
wat else could it be

Replaced the sending unit in rear of head or front? Rear is gauge sending unit on '95, IIRC.

i replaced the one in the front didnt know there was one in the back
i got the one that goes onto the thermostat holder that mounts on the block

That's the sensor. The sending unit is on the rear of the head, drivers side.

temp sensor for the gauge... parts stores ask sometimes..... but most the time they dont cause they have no idea what there doing

Just make sure the electrical connector matches and you should be good to go.
