Default technical lift question. please read

ok, im gonna lift my jeep 3 inchs. thats what ive decided on. but im going with the rc series II lift and it has sway bay drop brackets. do i still need to use those if i purchased jks quicker disconnects for a 3 inch lifted Cherokee???

I have my RE discos in place with the stock sway bar bracket, so I would say NO you dont need the drop bracket.

Drop brackets are needed over 4.5" but at 3" you will be fine. The discos will be fine too.

if i dont need the drop brackets then why does the kit come with them?

if you are using the discos you wont need to use the extended end links

what happens when you lift your jeep the swaybar links are too short and hit the coil springs

Kit comes with the drop brackets to keep your sway bar link anges right after the lift. RC didn't know you were going to buy the JKS quick discos separately. so, they provided the drop brackets as part of a complete lift kit. My Rusty's 4.5 inch lift kit came with sway bar drop brackets. I tossed them and installed quick discos, too.
