Default Tcase drop using OEM parts?

Thought I heard / read that if you have an automatic transmission you can gain an inch drop using a cross member off a manual transmission XJ. Don't know if this is true or not, but considering heading out to the salvage yard today for a few parts. If this would work then I might attempt to pull one as well. Has anyone done this?

I seen that listed in a list of "junkyard upgrades" that someone posted. It was a rather long list of upgrades and swap. I can't seem to find that post now. This is something that I'm planning on doing also.

all you need to drop the t case is longer bolts and an inch of washers for each bolt saves the trouble of removing crossmember less work
