TC Drop issue
I just noticed that when the PO did (what I think is) a TC drop (blocks on either side of the trans mount support) he only put one bolt on either side as the other is a stud coming down. Has anyone run into this? What should I do to extend the stud?
Thanks!
Thanks!

The factory set up comes with one bolt and one stud on each side.

Lol, no offense, but thanks for nothing. Obviously I know this. I want to know how to attach it at both points on either side. If everyone runs them with one, then please let me know. Thanks!
P.S. thanks for the quick reply though.

Sorry im used to answering noobish questions so I figured this would just be another one. Haha. But I havnt heard of anyone using the stud. Most of the time they get replaced with the new longer bolts.

Haha no problem. I'm thinking that something like the coupler that's used on an adjustable track bar, etc. may work. I'll use more threaded rod coupled to the stud, and then a nut to attach the support. I'm not sure where to get a coupler like this, but I'll start looking around.

Every TC drop requires the STUD be removed.
Many just vice-grip it (I just did this about 1 hr ago on our 91)
Some use vice-grip and heat from a propane torch.
On my 94 I used a small monkey wrench.
The stud is threaded in and uses the same M10 mteric threads as the bolt.
Trying to use a coupler nut is just gonna lead you into headaches.
