main consensus is the tb spacer makes a nice paper weight.
they are actually usefull on carbed engines, useless on fuel injection for 99.9% of our applications

I got a throttle body spacer and cold air intake. Other than it sounding really cool i haven't noticed any real difference. It now sounds like a small turbo. Other than that no difference. I am actually starting to regret the cold air intake and i am thinking about going back to stock because now all i can do is worry about splashing mud and water into my intake.
really because the header makes more power on the dyno then the bored TB but what did you do first the intake or exhaust. never mind i saw you have the older model with the smaller intake manifold so the extra air coming in probably helped you more then on the 1997 plus models with the larger manifolds

its not the spacer that is bored out. its the Throttle body itself. Theres quite a few performance shops that will do them. It will help you with throttle response, may gain u a bit of power. I had really good results with mine...but i also have a 2.5" cat back exhaust and a less restrictive intake.
