looking for some ideas on how to hold the little door ajar button down besides duck tape

 

Find the wire inside the body and install a switch.

 

i think guys just take it out of the sleeve < think its the door light switch too, so you dont want your battery going dead while you have them off either

 

so they just take the switch out?

 

yes just unnscrew them and disconnect them

 

unscrew the pin from the door jamb and unplug it. that will solve ur problem

 

Just do the same thing the wrangler guys do you cut the wire going to the doom light fuse and run it to a switch so when they have the doors of they can just flip the switch and good to go.

They also make kits to do the same thing called door jam defeat switch just google it i think the kit is pretty cheap.
