Tail lamps
Anybody aware of any changes in the tail lamps and lamp sockets between the model years? My 93 has [rusted out] metal sockets, do the newer model years have a better [plastic] plug and or a different lense and socket assembly? Going to hit the junk yard for a newer set if available with plastic sockets otherwise we will have to improvise. Thanks, Joe

you could use normal plastic sockets as i did but its kind of tricky to fit them on to the tail lamp and put some sealant or silicon around it because it does not tights , i changed my tail lights and corner lights to clear and used led bulbs and thats what i did , the wholes on the old tail lights where melting , thats why i decided to change to leds!!!

yes its TDI ,the only thing is that in my country there is no Bio Diesel avaliable yet ,i wanted to use GLP but i was afraid of it at that time , so i decided to swap to a diesel engine , it is a lot better to use GLP couse of the swap and re gearing and all that stuff but its sweet to last a whole month with a full tank of diesel instead of a week with gasoline , soon as we get bio diesel sure will used, love my planet!!!

you can convert your engine to run with used vegetable oil and diesel mixture. you will only need a pre heater to heat vegetale oil and a filter to filter particles inside your fuel mixture. first off all of course you will filter your oil before mixing it with diesel.
older TDI can even work on %100 vegetable oil. you can find lots of information over internet.
