Tachometer acting up and misfiring
My 93 sputtered and died in my driveway and I could not get it to restart... So I did a quick tune-up (Plugs, wires, cap, rotor) and it still would not start... So I started to replace the usual suspects.. Started with the CPS then I replaced the coil... Now the Jeep starts but its misfiring and running poorly.
(Probably related) Also, my tachometer is acting up... At first, when I got into the jeep after i replaced the coil and cps, I put the key in the on position and my tach jumped up to 1k and sat there before I even started the engine..Once I did start it the tach did not move and just sat at 1k.... Took the key out and tried again but this time the tach was acting normal but dropping randomly every now and then.
Anybody have a suggestion on what could be causing the issue before I take it to the shop? PCM? Distributor?
